Happy Monday, friends!
Comin’ atcha today with more photos from our trip to the mountains in Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada 🙂 This was the first day that we really got out and did some hiking, which we absolutely loved. We took a hike through a beautiful stretch of wilderness that ended down at a rushing stream. We had seen streams like the one we came upon from the car driving down the highway and every time we did I would squeal with delight, hoping that we would get the chance to get up close to something like it. So, you can imagine how happy and in awe I was when we came across this:
After leaving this site, we drove to another venue in the park called Lake Moraine. This lake was one of the most gorgeous places I’ve ever seen in my life. There, G and I climbed up a tall rock cliff that overlooked the entire scene:
The blue color of the water stands out so crisply against the backdrop of snowcapped mountains. It was truly amazing.
After climbing down, we walked around the lake to take in more of the scene:
For this day’s adventures I wore a pair of white jeans, my trust Sperry Saltwater duck boots, a white beanie for extra warmth and this super comfortable pink plaid shirt. I bought this top for the trip specifically and love it so much. It’s one of two plaid shirts that I bought for the trip, but this one has gotten so much more use. The way this it is cut makes the fit loose and comfortable, but it still shows a bit of a feminine shape, which I love.
I also wore my Ralph Lauren quilted vest on and off during the day for added warmth when needed!
