We’re back from our Tennessee Glamping trip and I’m so excited to share all about it! It was COLD up in in the Smoky Mountains this weekend, but our dome was well equipped with heaters, warm beds, a hot shower and even a hot tub so we were not suffering! I love how the main wall in the dome is mostly window, so it feels like you’re completely submerged in nature the whole time – even while inside. Each dome has it’s own name and theme. We stayed in the Night Fever dome and it was so cute with its light-catching disco balls, record player and retro vibe. Ours was one of the units that sits right on river, so, as we were outside roasting marshmallows or enjoying the hot tub, we had a beautiful view and the sounds of rushing water next to us! Amenities. While there are several…

Recently, we left our two boys back home with their grandparents for eight days while we traveled to France. Before the trip, the had never been without us both at the same time and I had only left them for a short weekend previously. Needless to say I was a nervous wreck and wanted to do everything I could to make the week run as smoothly as possible for everyone involved. So, today I’m sharing my five tips for leaving your kids at home while you travel. These are some of the things I did before we left to ensure the boys’ lives were disrupted as little as possible – which in turn helped my in-laws and our peace of mind tremendously. Whether you’re leaving for a weekend or a week or more, I think these tips apply and I hope they’re helpful! Pin this post for later! How to…

In this post, I’m sharing our itinerary while we were visiting the French Rivera: where we went, for how long and what we did while we were there. If you’d like to see our trip in action, you can watch the “FRANCE” highlight on my Instagram page. Click here to see! Mon – Wed: Le Rouret. We left on a Sunday evening out of the Atlanta airport and flew nonstop to Paris, arriving early Monday morning. From there, we caught a flight to Nice, which is on the southern coast of France. Once we arrived at the airport, we headed straight for the rental car area and picked up the car we had reserved through a company called Sixt. We packed up the car and drove the 35-40 minutes to our first Airbnb in the village of Le Rouret. There, we stayed two nights and got out first taste of…

Last weekend, I met three of my girlfriends at an Atlanta area winery to celebrate one of my best friend’s bachelorette party. Emily is the classiest lady who loves sipping red wine, appreciates amazing food and deserves more than anyone to be pampered at a luxuriously relaxing spa. So, Chateau Elan was the perfect place to celebrate her! We began the weekend with a fun dinner at the onsite Irish Pub called Paddy’s. I had a traditionally Irish meal, Bangers and Mash which was delicious and we sat at the bar sipping (and maybe shooting) a few beverages.. it was a bachelorette party after all 😉 Luckily, we were staying at the beautiful Chateau Elan Inn so all we had to do was walk across part of the vineyard to get back to our room. There’s also a shuttle service that can take you to and from parts of the…
