A fresh take on a seasonal wreath.
I love decorating for Christmas. This year, since our surroundings are different than usual, I wanted to bring some fresh ideas to the decorating department. Decorating this year will be a little challenging because I love to go all out, but I don’t want to shrink our space too much with a ton of gaudy decorations (we’ll see how that goes)! I got the idea to use eucalyptus for a wreath from a table runner that I helped my friends make as decoration for a baby shower a couple weeks ago. I loved how easy this plant was to work with and how the eucalyptus smells so fresh and different. It creates a more natural, more bohemian feel that I’m really into right now. These eucalyptus stems are mostly all separated and straight, which makes a DIY project like this especially seamless.
Now, this project is very flexible and customizable – use or don’t use the bells, change the ribbon color or even add flowers to the wreath if you’d like. It’s all up to you, but keep scrolling down to see how I made mine!
How I did it:
I picked up two eucalyptus bouquets from Trader Joe’s (you can use more if you want!) and a spool of ribbon, a wire wreath form and some bells from Michael’s. You will also need some green floral wire. 
I simply wove pieces from the bouquet through the wire form and tied them down to the wire form with wire. 
The process only took me about 25 minutes and it was really calming and therapeutic 🙂
I think it turned out so well! It makes our little living room smell wonderful and I love how different it looks from the usual Christmas wreath over the mantel!
