comfortable in white cotton.
I’ve been on the hunt lately for clothes that I can not only wear during this pregnancy, but hopefully afterwards as well. With that in mind, this white cotton sundress was the perfect find. Considered a “babydoll” style, its great for maternity and non-maternity wear because of the way it loosely falls below the bodice. There’s definitely plenty of room for a growing baby bump, or the babydoll style is flattering and flowy shape for all!
What makes it even more versatile and comfortable, is the adjustable tie-back behind the dress. This allows you to easily customize the way the top portion of the dress looks and feels. Which is so convenient because I’m currently in an awkward stage with my body during this pregnancy. I’m not quite big enough yet for it to be obvious that there’s a baby under there, but I’m also not at all small enough to effortlessly fit into most of my clothes anymore lol! This dress offers a great middle ground for me even though I’m sure it wasn’t really intended for maternity wear at all. The versatility it possesses will make it last for many seasons (and circumstances) to come! Plus – it has pockets!
This ensemble, paired with a denim jacket and these wedges, was the perfect outfit for church this past weekend. I actually love it so much I might have to get it in the pink or navy blue option! It’s also really affordable at less than 60 bucks. If you’re thinking about adding a cotton sundress to your wardrobe.. seriously.. GET THIS ONE. It fits true to size and I didn’t even have to size up thanks to the adjustable straps and tie-back features. Dress it up for weddings or events and dress it down for simple Sundays or relaxing with family!
