If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen my announcement back in August that I am taking part in the Home Depot Style Challenge this year! This has been a dream partnership for me. It’s every blogger’s dream to be able to work with a brand they personally love and use often. For us, we visit The Home Depot almost every single week, so when they reached out to me for their Style Challenge, I wholeheartedly said yes!
Let’s talk about the challenge really quick. The Home Depot tasked me with a theme of ‘holiday greenery’ and assigned me two products to work into my designs. The rest was up to me!
Planning our Holiday Decor
Since the two items I was assigned involved a 7.5 ft lawn ornament and a lush green wreath, I decided to decorate two different areas: our front walk and our entryway. Why two? We don’t have much of a porch to decorate and, what we do have, isn’t covered so everything is exposed. That means options for decorating are limited but that’s okay because we like to keep our outdoor decorations simple anyway! So, I thought decorating the room just inside our front door would keep the theme going. It also just so happens that this was the room I planned to focus on decorating this holiday season!
Let me show you the spaces that got made over.
The Before
These are the aspects of our foyer that are getting shown some holiday love: the front door, banister and entryway table!
