It has been five long months but I’m finally getting to show you the final guest bathroom reveal! There is a full rundown of product details and paint colors at the bottom of this post!
The details.
Shiplap and Paint Colors.
Let’s talk about the walls first! I used the standard nickel gap shiplap from Home Depot and painted it Sculptor Clay by Behr. I think it’s the perfect neutral putty color for this space and I’m so happy with the way it all turned out! The top color is called White by Behr as well!
In terms of the shiplap – it is SO EASY to work with and install. I just cut it to length and nailed it in with my brad nailer. Originally, I had wanted to do a longer height, but I saved so much money by just cutting each board in half. It actually ended up being perfect because the baseboards I installed are 1×6 and then I did a 1×4 boarder above followed by a 1×2 ledge. All in all it ended up being about the height I wanted anyway and I love the ledge for putting pictures or nick-nacks on.
