fischer’s spring & summer wardrobe.

As warmer weather started to arrive here in Atlanta, we were noticing that Fischer was semi-busting out of his old clothes.. so it was definitely time for a whole new baby wardrobe over here 😉

I have to admit, when I first found out were were having a baby boy, I semi-panicked about finding cute clothes. That worry proved unnecessary, though, thanks in large part to our three favorite retailers: H&M, Old Navy and Gap! They’re the three we shop from most often for Fischer’s clothes because the price, quality and style are spot on. As for sizing, Old Navy and Gap run pretty true-to-size but it’s definitely worth noting that H&M kids clothes run a little big! As I was shopping this time, I had a few specific things I wanted to get for him in terms of Spring attire.

• Rain boots (because I know he’ll be walking at some point this summer and I’d really like for him to have something that won’t get ruined in the inevitable summer rain!)
• A pair of sandals for footwear that will keep him cool
• A pair of neutral sneakers
• Khaki pants for church
• Jeans – we get these for him every time he needs a new pair! They’re not baggy, have some good stretch to them and are really soft
• Two church tops to be rotated out – we got this one and this one
• A lightweight sweater
• At least one pair of shorts (we got him these [my fav!] and these)
• Overalls (simply because I love them! – I decided to get these knit overalls instead of the normal denim)
• Some simple cotton t-shirts (got him this pack and two of these in different colors)
• New lightweight pajamas (this pair, this pair and of course a couple pairs of our favorite burt’s bees onesies)
• aaaaand G insisted he have a tank, then proceeded to pick this one out saying it was non-negotiable?

A few things still on my list for him that we haven’t purchased yet include:

• Rain jacket
• Ball cap
• Multi-pack of onesies for hot days when we’re just hanging around the house.
