I just can’t get over these maternity photos.
If you’ve been following along for a while, you know that Carolyn Allen Photography has been taking all of our milestone photos ever since we got engaged (excluding our wedding – only because she was standing beside me that day)! Her talent for capturing the beauty of these special moments is truly a gift and undoubtedly her calling!
The morning of our session, it was about 90 degrees and 900% humidity before 9am. I was covered in sweat from head to toe and the curls in my hair had obviously fallen. Despite that, I look at these photos and don’t see a hot mess. I see something that makes my eyes swell with pride and joy and gratitude. The man I said ‘yes’ to and the babies we’re raising together. Thankful doesn’t even scratch the surface.
