Welcome to the first of many Friday Fives!
Every Friday I plan to roundup five things I want to share from the week or, in this case, the past few weeks. This time it’s my favorite recent purchases, but next time I may roundup my favorite dinner recipes or table lamps or kids activities.. who knows! But whatever I end up sharing here on Fridays, I hope you find something here that’s useful!!
Alright, let’s get to it.
Set of 3 Nonstick Baking Sheets
For the past several years I had been using a set of two Nordic Ware baking sheets which I’d purchased from Target. They worked just fine, but they discolor quickly and I always felt like I needed to line them with foil or use nonstick spray whenever I baked something (which is often). But recently, I came across a set of 3 nonstick baking sheets while perusing Crate & Barrel’s site and, since they were on clearance for an amazing price, I decided to try them. SO GLAD that I did because I LOVE THEM! They’re true nonstick – I have yet to use a piece of foil or a drop of nonstick spray and everything slides right off of them. I also love that you get three different sizes. I use the small one almost daily to cook the kids’ veggie bites or chicken nuggets, etc! Trust me, you’ll want to snag these while they’re still available – only $16 for 3!
Large Gray Table Lamp
I fell in love with this lamp the moment I saw it online a few weeks ago. I was so pleased when it arrived and lived up to the hype I’d made for it in my mind! It currently sits on my desk in my office and I love it so much. It’s the perfect size and has a dimming feature, which I love!
Kitsch Shower Cap
I hadn’t been a shower cap user in the past – and boy did I not know what I was missing. Now, when I shower with previously curled hair I don’t have to completely redo my hair after a steaming hot shower! This particular shower cap is amazing because it leaves plenty of room for your hair (I have a LOT) and it has grips along the edges that not only help the shower cap stay put, but also acts as a seal to ensure no water or moisture reaches your locks. I’m a HUGE fan!
Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer
This is the second one of these that I’ve had. Since I used my previous one almost daily, I started noticing that the bristles were waring down. Having a brand new one reminded me just how much I love love LOVE this thing. I have a LOT of very thick hair, which has some wave and curl to it. This round brush hair dryer allows me to dry it all and style it at the same time. All-in-all it takes me about 15 minutes to do my hair and that is a BIG deal for me. It makes my hair so soft and shiny while still keeping volume, which is amazing. Plus, for the price you seriously can’t beat it!!
Soft Roll-Sleeve T-Shirt
I have been so in love and pleasantly surprised by this $14 t-shirt! It’s got a slightly loose/boxy fit with rolled detailing at the sleeve and just gives that comfy, effortless look that I love so much. Pairs well with shorts, jeans, and would even go well with skirt I think! The material is super soft as well! Comes in a bunch of different colors. Runs slightly big in my opinion so if you’re between sizes you can size down!
What do you think – find anything you’d like to try out for yourself!?
