Y’all, it feels so good to be sharing the boys’ bedroom reveal with you!! Not only that, but to be able to FINALLY check an ongoing project off my list (now I only have five more haha). As I said in the boys’ bedroom design post, this room was so much fun to put together and I’m so happy with the way it turned out! The best part was putting Fischer to bed last night and, with a big hug, him saying sweetly, “Thank you for my new room, Mama.” That definitely made any and all efforts worth it.
What do you think?! I love that we switched themes from their previous room in our old house and were still able to reuse a lot of things we already had.. like bedding, wall decor, their bookshelf, etc.
Kids bedroom window treatments.
Two things that will eventually change in here are their window treatments and ceiling fan. We have this fan ready to be installed but G didn’t have time before this post. And I’m looking to probably do some motorized shades instead of the manual ones we have now. That way we won’t have to reach over their furniture to open and close the shades in the near future. I like to go cordless and without curtains in kids rooms just for added safety and simplicty.
Boys room decor.
The boys dresser actually has a really cool safety mechanism which serves two purposes. You can only open one drawer from each column at a time – which reduces tip-over probability.. but also helps with neatness since it requires them to close the drawers as they go (and all the toddler mamas said aaaaammmeen)!
I know you won’t be surprised that I purchased yet another Loloi rug for our home. This one is actually a little similar to their previous navy blue rug in that it has the checkered or windowpane design. I love these rugs for their style and the fact that they’re pretty low maintenance. While not technically ‘washable’, I usually just take mine outside, sprinkle them with a little powdered Tide and pressure wash them when/if they really need it! Next time one of ours needs cleaning I’ll walk you through the process.

Alright friends, don’t hesitate to let me know what you think of the room or to leave a comment asking any questions you may have! As always, thank you so much for being here. Check back in tomorrow for another fun post!
