Location: Anaehoomalu Bay, Hawaii
I had been crushing on this black off the shoulder dress for months and finally decided to pull the trigger for our trip to Hawaii. There are so many great things about it – from its ruffled neckline to its billowy, yet surprisingly feminine shape. I also love that it comes in 3 different colors.
I actually wore this dress on two different occasions while we were on our trip – once as a cover-up to the beach after having first worn it out to dinner one evening. This little black dress is versatile enough to be worn out to lunch or fancy affairs as well as to the beach or pool.
My sunglasses are the RB Aviator Large Metal Ray-Bans that I am currently borrowing from Ditto! Get your first month of borrowing for free when you sign up with code SUNKISSED – or you can buy them directly here.
I bought my flip-flops from a shop while we were there because I forgot mine, but these are the most comfortable sandals I think I’ve ever owned. The bands that go across the top of your feet are made of a stretchy cloth and the soles are made of the softest leather – it seriously feels like you’re walking on clouds.
This off the shoulder dress not only comes in different colors, but it also comes in different lengths, meaning there are versions of it as tops (see here)!
These photos are from the day we spent at Anaehoomalu Bay (or “A Bay Beach” for short), which was a beach just down the street from our resort. It was beautiful. You never really think of rocks as being pretty, but they were scattered along the turquoise shores in the most charming way. The sun shone all day and we were enjoying the weather so much when it was time to leave that we decided to skip the shuttle and walk back instead.. I want to go back, y’all.. can you tell?
