If you follow me over on instagram or snapchat (aglimpseofglam), then you may have seen that G and I went camping out in the Georgia mountains this past weekend. It was sort of a spontaneous trip as we decided we’d go on Friday night, went out and bought a new tent and some gear and were on the road by 9am the next morning. I love it when we do things like that. We went up to a place called Cloudland National Park, located in the northwest tip of Georgia. It was funny because we actually had to drive up into Tennessee and then back down into GA to get there.
The weekend was spent hiking, exploring, cooking on an open campfire and letting our pups roam free in the woods. The weather was a little bit on the cold side, which was perfect. I’d much rather have to layer up than be sweating and gross without any way to shower. To help keep the chill off, I wore this slouchy beanie and luxuriously soft origami infinity scarf from Boll & Branch. I love this combo for keeping warm – I even slept in them both as the temps dropped into the 30’s overnight! These pieces can be worn several different ways – I looped the scarf around my neck twice and the hat can be worn folded over or not!
Hope you’re all having a wonderful week!
