it was a great year.. Every year at this time, I love to take a morning to reflect on the previous 365 days. No matter what, there have always been less than my fair share of downs and way more ups than I deserve. 2016 was especially good to G and I. Some really exciting things happened – the kinds of things that made us grow, made us proud and made us feel challenged. Moving from Tallahassee to Atlanta – 5 hours away from G’s parents (who have always been less than 15 minutes away) and more than 6 hours away from mine – was probably the biggest thing that happened. We were given the opportunity to do some life-changing traveling. We found out two of my absolute best friends would soon be parents and that we would become “aunt” and “uncle”. Hello, friends! So, some of you may be wondering why things over here have been a little quiet lately – well, it’s because we recently found out that we will be moving to Atlanta and it has sort of plunged our life into mild chaos! Since this past Wednesday when G received the job offer, we’ve put in our notices, put our house up for sale, scrubbed our house top to bottom and spent two days in Atlanta looking for a new home. The good news is that we are back in town and, although these next few weeks will be full of packing and showings and trying to spend time with people we’ll miss being so close to, we at least have a set timeline and a game plan – which means I’ll be able to shift a little more focus back in to creating content for GG 🙂 That being…
