Transitioning to Spring in a Maxi Dress. I’ve found the perfect no-think outfit for transitioning into Spring: a maxi dress and denim jacket. When the weather becomes more consistently warm/hot, the denim jacket won’t be needed, but it definitely adds a cute layer and easy cover-up! One of my favorite things about maxi dresses is that I get to wear wedges with them. As someone who is 5’4, I love any chance or excuse to wear a pair of heels. As some of you may know, about three months ago I started a spring capsule wardrobe with the intent to do three things: save a little money by not being tempted to buy new pieces, challenge myself to get the most out of the pieces that I already have and love and to simplify my life a bit by creating more space in my closet/using less time to pick through what I wanted to wear.
