we’re moving!

Hello, friends!
So, some of you may be wondering why things over here have been a little quiet lately – well, it’s because we recently found out that we will be moving to Atlanta and it has sort of plunged our life into mild chaos! Since this past Wednesday when G received the job offer, we’ve put in our notices, put our house up for sale, scrubbed our house top to bottom and spent two days in Atlanta looking for a new home. The good news is that we are back in town and, although these next few weeks will be full of packing and showings and trying to spend time with people we’ll miss being so close to, we at least have a set timeline and a game plan – which means I’ll be able to shift a little more focus back in to creating content for GG 🙂

That being said – I am so excited to share this whole process with you as we go! For those of you who don’t know, Atlanta is four and a half hours north of Tallahassee. As a little backstory, I moved to Tallahassee from central Florida for my freshman year of college at FSU eight and a half years ago and Garrett moved here with his family when he was young.. so this has been our home for a long time… and it feels really surreal/bittersweet to be leaving it in less than a month. We will be renting an apartment short term until our house sells and we can save up a little bit to buy a new home.

Although all of this will be throwing a wrench into some of our future plans, we truly think this is something God has orchestrated for good and we are so excited to start this new adventure together!
