Christmas time.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year. As I mentioned in a previous post, I’ve been even more excited for the Christmas this year – probably due to the fact that the baby will be here so soon! As you may know, Atlanta also got buried in snow this weekend, which only helped to make this season more special. Life is good, you guys. 😉

On that note, I thought I would share a peek at our holiday decorations. This is our first holiday season in this house and I loved deciding what aesthetic I was going for. Neutral tones and strong green accents were ultimately what I ended up going with and I’m really happy with the way it all turned out! These trees on the mantel light up and add to the ambiance of the room after dark.

Another decor favorite is this Christmas tree topper. I’ve always just put big ribbon bows at the top of our trees, but decided it was time for something more fun and meaningful! I love the clean look that it gives the tree.

All of the garland and swag that you see around our house was FREE. Yep! I simply asked if I could have the scraps that were tossed aside when we bought our Christmas tree! It was a great money saver and a moderate pile of it really went a long way. I may even go back sometime soon to get more so that I can decorate our banister.

I decided to do something a little bit different on our tree this year. These clear beads make for a really classy touch. Plus, I love how they twinkle and sparkle along with the lights!
