fall neutrals.
As I was making my way around the house to decorate for Fall, I realized that our home is borderline fall-ready year-round lol! I don’t like a ton of orange, so when it comes to Fall decor I prefer to keep the color palette fairly neutral – greens, creams and wood accents. Our ‘gather’ sign is up all year because I like the message it delivers in the family room. However, I did recently purchase a round mirror to go up in its place when the season is over, so stay tuned for a winter mantle update 🙂
Most of our fall decor this year consists of greenery and pumpkins, both of which were purchased from Trader Joe’s. Super simple, easy and totally budget-friendly. I simply laid greenery along the table runner and the mantle to offset the white pumpkins and create a filler for empty space.
Our table scape was created using round wicker chargers, dinner plates, salad plates, gold napkin rings and neutral gray cloth napkins (I also LOVE these napkins! I’m thinking about getting them for our Friendsgiving dinner). I purchased the glass containers from TJ Maxx – the fillers for which I’m still deciding on. What do you think? Fill them with pumpkins, candles or something else??
Then, for the front door I found a beautiful pre-potted set of mums at Home Depot for less than $20. I set them on a galvanized tub that we already had for height and accented them with more pumpkins! Easy and simple, yet festive! 🙂
What do you think, friends? How are you decorating for fall??
