I actually think I may be a little late to the party when it comes to this shop, but I’ve been looking for a fairly affordable boutique that I felt good about sharing with you guys – and I’ve decided this is the one! Why the search? To be honest, I’ve been feeling lately like I’m seeing the same things on racks (and people) over and over again. But I love that shopping online at a boutique like this helps to switch things up because they receive hundreds of new items weekly and are constantly updating their inventory.
A few things to note about Goodnight Macaroon
Here are a few things I’ve learned about Goodnight Macaroon that you may find useful if you decide to shop there too:
1. They are currently having a month long 40% off sitewide sale when you use code JULY40
2. Shipping does take a little while. I paid $10 expedited shipping and I think it still took about 2 weeks to receive my order (which, I think means their warehouse is overseas). HOWEVER, they have such great pieces for vacations and events so if you know about something you’re shopping for in advance just order in plenty of time! Also, if you make a return, you can send it to an address in Florida, so you’re not having to ship to a crazy destination.
3. Weekly Flash Sale. Every Tuesday they curate a special selection of inventory that falls under FLASH SALE. So you can shop those pieces at even more discounted prices until that Thursday morning!
4. They don’t just sell clothing. Goodnight Macaroon also has a homeware section where you can find some pretty cute décor items.
5. Pay close attention to sizing. This probably goes without saying, but just want to remind you that not all these pieces come from the same place, which means they’re sizing is all pretty different! Just be sure to check the size chart and you should be fine! They also encourage you to reach out to their customer service team if you have questions about an item.
Mini Try-On
This was my first order from this store, so I only ordered a few things. I wanted to make sure the process was smooth and the items were quality before I did any serious ordering 😉 But, I’m totally happy with the way things went and think the pieces themselves are well made! I love this little floral number – I think it’s so flattering, feminine and romantic! I love that it cinches and ties at the waist for a customized fit. The bodice buttons all the way down with buttons that are actually functional, so if you’re nursing this would be a great dress for you! This midi dress would be perfect for anything from going to church on Sunday, heading to the farmer’s market on Saturdays or even for attending a bridal or baby shower this summer!
To be honest, I wasn’t so sure about this top when I first put it on, but it quickly grew on me! It’s a tad see through, but I’m wearing a nude colored bra and I don’t think it’s a big deal at all. I paired it with some high waisted jeans because it hits pretty high in the front but goes down lower in the back. It’s got tassels that you can pull tighter or leave loose depending on how you want the top to look and feel. I think this is a really cute date night top our it would be great for a concert, festival or other daytime outing!
BOHEMIAN PRINT PINK TASSEL DRESS
Okay, so I should’ve actually ordered a size up in this one, but it’s so cute I had to show you guys anyway! I love the pretty pink and floral pattern. I orginally thought it would make a great coverup, but it makes for a great outfit for just about anything – BBQ’s, outings, church, gatherings, etc! It looks a little short (which, it is) but just size up and you should be fine! For reference, I’m wearing a small and will be sending it back for a medium 🙂
