Happy Friday! It’s been a while since I’ve posted an updated makeup tutorial on here – almost a year to be exact! A few of the products you’ll see in my current routine are the same as when I posted this everyday makeup rundown last year. However, a few things have changed and I love what I’m using right now, so I thought I’d share!

If you’ve been following along with me for a while, you know that I like my makeup to look fairly subtle. I don’t do bright lipstick or fake eyelashes. Not that I’m against them – sometimes I’ll get fancy for an event or a night out – but on a regular basis, I keep it fairly natural. As a stay-at-home mom it may not make sense to some people that I get full-on ready most days, but doing something for myself each morning really helps me to feel motivated for the day! So, if you’re a fellow SAHM, or just someone looking for an easy and straightforward makeup routine, then you’ve come to the right place! With that – let’s get started!

First up, a video so you can see it all in action. Product links and info will be below.

An easy makeup tutorial.

Here is a list of the products I’m using in the video – in order to make it easier!

Face

Tula Glow & Get It Cooling & Brightening Eye Balm – This stuff is the best for cooling your eyes and brightening dark circles instantly! Can be applied before and/or after makeup application, but I like to put it on first thing for that first layer of added glow.

It Cosmetics CC+ Cream with SPF 50+ – This is hands down my favorite product to use for foundation. The coverage is amazing + it’s buildable and has plenty of SPF for the upcoming summer months!

Beautyblender – I use this to apply my foundation, concealer and even my setting powder! The perfect face sponge for a flawless, smooth and even application. Make sure to wet it before use!

Tarte Shape Tape Concealer – I’ve switched back and forth between this and the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer over the years. But this is the one I use most often!

Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder – This powder does SUCH a good job at setting your makeup. It also lasts forever! I’ve had this same container of it for over a year and it’s nowhere close to being gone yet!

Eyes

Tarteletteā„¢ In Bloom Clay Eyeshadow Palette – I’ve been using this palette pretty much exclusively for the past year and LOVE it. The colors are so pigmented too that this palette has lasted me forever without any signs of slowing down!

Clinique Pretty Easy Liquid Eyelining Pen – This is another one that I keep coming back to time and time again. I’ve always shied away from the eyeliner look that’s typically created by liquid pens or gels. But this pen makes it sooo easy to get a perfectly customizable line that lasts all day.

Lancome CILS BOOSTER XL Super-Enhancing Mascara Base – I swear by this stuff. It makes such a big difference in how your mascara applies and helps it to last all day!

Thrive Causemetics Liquid Lash Extensions Mascara – My tried and true / ride or die mascara. I love this stuff. It makes your lashes look so much fuller and longer. I also love how easy it is to wash off! Makeup removal at the end of the night is big for me. The easier it is to wash off, the better!

Cheeks

Bobbi Brown Bronzer – I switch back and forth between this bronzer and my Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer – or sometimes I do both! But if I’m in the mood for a matte finish – this is my go to. It’s super pigmented, so it’s another one that’s lasted me forever!

Bobbi Brown Blush – same thing with this. I sometimes pair it or swap with my Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush, but this is my go-to for a matte pink finish!

Hourglass Foundation/Blush Brush No. 2 – This brush is amazing. I use my Beautyblender for foundation, but as its name suggests, it can be used for both foundation and blush! It easily wipes clean on a clean cloth in between applications too!

Lips

Tarte SEA Quench Lip Rescue Balm – Like I said before, I’m not huge on bright lipsticks – at least not for everyday makeup – so this is the PERFECT product for me. It offers just the right amount of tinted color and a little glossy sheen to your lips for a finished, polished look! I love it so much I have it in four colors: Rose, Nude, Berry and Coral! In this video, I used the color Nude.
