baby shower outfit.
It’s something that I think most of us begin planning not long after we find out that we’re pregnant. What will we wear to our baby shower? As I was sifting through examples on Pinterest, I had a couple of things in mind – I knew I wanted to do something different while still nodding to the fall season by being able to wear a pair of booties. Though I went back and forth on maxi vs. mini and velvet material vs. not, I ultimately settled on this bump-hugging maternity dress. I thought a floral kimono was a unique touch and love this one that I found to match my dress! As for my bootie requirement, I instantly fell in love with these Steve Madden peep toe booties as soon as I came across them.
the outfit.
I will say that this maternity dress is probably the most comfortable one I own. The material is thick, yet stretchy and it keeps you cool. The neckline is also super flattering with just enough of a V to accent your chest 😉 It does everything you need a maternity dress to do – including hugging your bump without suffocating you! I love how it looks with the flowy kimono over it.
Happy Friday, you guys! Today, my coworkers are throwing a shower for Baby F and it marks just two more weeks until maternity leave! What are y’all up to??
