Now that I’m a mom, the clothes I wear need to be more than just stylish – they also need to be comfortable and functional. These overalls definitely check all of those boxes.

overalls: they’ve always been my favorite.

I love that the overall trend came back in full force. Growing up, I remember having several pairs in different colors and I can say without a doubt that they were my favorite thing to wear. My most loved pair was a dark wash long pant version featuring my good friend Winnie the Pooh. It was between those and my beloved pink Tweety Bird Converses that vied for the top spot in my heart at that point in my childhood. Oh, yeah, I was pretty darn stylish in the fourth grade ;).

These overalls, however, are a little more timeless.. and a lot less embarrassing. They have just enough distressed detailing to give them a little interest and flair without being over the top. I love the fit, too, as they’re slightly loose and don’t hug your legs at all, which is something I’ve really been looking for in all my shorts lately. For reference, I’m wearing a size medium, but I probably would have been just fine in a small! Added bonus: they’re available in white, black and even a camo pattern!

If you’re looking for a little versatility, I’ve seen people wear these as a swimsuit coverup and LOVE the way that looks! The next time I find myself in a bathing suit I’m going to try that out for myself.. so cute.

mom factor.

I think overalls are great for this stage in my life. Nursing in them is easy – I don’t even undo the straps! Especially with these, there’s enough room to either side of the bib to just lift up your shirt and whip out the girls (I know, nice, right). Another added benefit is that signature pocket on the bib. You can usually find my phone or a pacifier – sometimes even a granola bar – stuck in it when I’m wearing them, lol!

They’re also just so comfortable for roaming around the house and even running errands. I usually just throw on a comfortable v-neck tee, slide on a cute pair of sandals and head out the door. It’s a pretty effortless outfit that still looks so cute and stylish!
