I am loving this outfit for spring and summer. I wore it for the first time for a fun day of walking and having lunch with friends last weekend and, despite it being hot as hades, it kept me so cool and comfortable! This ensemble will definitely be on repeat for so many reasons as we spend the summer meandering through farmer’s markets, exploring new towns and visiting parks. Here’s a more in depth look at each piece.

floral top.

There are so many things to love about this floral top. The subtle ruffle hem that indents at the front, the tied detailing at the neckline and the overall feminine shape. It falls a little bit short so it pairs well with both high waisted jeans and a pair of denim shorts.

straw bag.

With the arrival of spring and summer comes fun activities like heading to the beach, going to festivals and perusing farmers markets. For that reason, I’ve been on the hunt for a large straw tote bag that I can take with me and stuff with goodies. If you watched my stories on Instagram last week, you may have noticed that I was trying to decide between keeping this tote or a straw circle bag. I chose this one because it seemed to be better quality, it was more roomy and, as an added bonus, it was cheaper! I love the unique ombre design with its touch of silver. Definitely something different for me – but I’m going to be enjoying it all summer long!
