Happy April! I know a lot of people have already started their spring cleaning schedules, but since I was still fighting morning sickness and extreme fatigue for most of March, April just seemed like a better time to start. Hopefully I’m catching you all before you’ve started yours too – or maybe I’m bringing your attention to the whole spring cleaning thing for the first time this year. Whatever the case may be, I hope you’ll follow along with me this month as I tackle some yearly and seasonal house chores alongside my usual cleaning schedule!

As an added incentive to track with me this month, I’m hosting an April cleaning essentials giveaway! How to enter this month’s giveaway.

Okay, so how do you enter? It’s super easy! All you have to do is follow me on Instagram and like each of my photos during the month of April! Here’s a tip to make sure you never miss a post over on IG: turn on post notifications! It’s super easy to do and I promise it won’t get annoying – I only post once a day (if that)! Here’s how you do it:

Step 1: Visit my Instagram Profile and click the button where it says Following (or Follow if you don’t already follow me).

Step 2: Tap where it says ‘Notifications’

Step 3: Choose where it says ‘Posts’! And that’s it! Notifications are turned on when you see the blue slider.

For extra entries, you can also post a photo(s) to your Instagram feed with the hashtag #afbspringcleaning – showing you embarking on your own spring cleaning journey this month! Your photos can feature how you’re following along with my cleaning/spring cleaning schedule or your own tips and tricks for cleaning! My spring cleaning tasks and April cleaning calendar.

Alright, now for my spring cleaning schedule. I’ve included 30 things – one for each day of April.  I plan to knock one out each day this month so that by the beginning of May, this house of ours is all cleaned up and refreshed! Of course, I fully expect there will be days when I skip something, but these are pretty straightforward tasks that can be doubled-up or tripled-up on if need be. Okay, ready? Let’s do it!
