Let’s talk about one of the things that made the biggest difference in the look and feel of our kitchen after our recent remodel: our new ZLINE gas range. The style and beauty of this standard 30″ gas range was a no-brainer when we were looking for affordable options for upgrading our stove.

A few of my favorite features.
There’s honestly nothing I don’t love about this range. I love how every element comes together to create a beautiful and stylish stove unit. But besides its looks, here are my top three favorite things about it.
- Italian made brass burners – These are not standard with this 30″ range, but they are an upgrade I’m so glad we made! Brass burners are meant to retain and distribute heat more efficiently – so not only are they pretty, but functional too. I’ve noticed that our pans get hotter faster and water boils in a flash on this stove! I also love the way the brass compliments the other gold tones in our kitchen like our pot filler and sconce lighting.
- Ball bearing oven racks – This was a feature I never knew I was missing until I experienced it in our ZLINE oven. The silky smooth gliding of these oven racks make them a treat to use while cooking. Plus, they’re super easy to remove for seamless cleaning and adjusting.
- 3 layer glass window – This was another luxury I never knew I needed. I absolutely love how the crystal clear glass makes it so easy to see our food while baking. It’s something my toddlers really enjoy too! 🙂
Actually, I should probably say that I have four favorite features because I’m so pleased with how easy everything on this stove is to remove and scrub clean! The black ceramic plates on top of the burners resist grease/grime and so far have not stained the way our last stove did. Same with the brass burners!

Why you should invest in a beautiful stove during a kitchen renovation.
The way I see it, there are two main reasons to renovate a kitchen: to boost your home value and to create a home you love! The stove area of the kitchen is usually the main focal point, so investing in a quality stylish range will undoubtedly pay off in the long run.
Another caveat to think about is whether your kitchen will include a pot filler. If so, I highly suggest a stove without the digital backboard (see the ‘before’ photo up top). This feature on a stove, although functional and convenient, will not do you any favors in terms design. To me, there was no sense in installing a beautiful pot filler if the glow of that ugly digital clock was going to steal the spotlight, ya know?!
To conclude, if you’re in the market for an affordable upgrade to your current stove, I hope you’ve found what you’re looking for! You really can’t beat the beauty and the value of this gas range. We are so happy with it! If you have any questions, feel free to leave them in a comment below!
