Y’all, the dining room is finished!!! The project I thought would never end has finally wrapped up – minus a few finishing touches but I figured I wouldn’t make y’all keep waiting for a few minor things 😉 When I started this project, I truly thought it would wrap up in a week – maybe two. In my head, it was just a few shelves and some paint but, as with most projects, it took way longer than expected. Boy, was it worth it though. I am so in love with the finished product and I hope y’all like it too!

When G and I started getting serious about looking for flooring, we had a strict budget and a specific idea of the type and shade of flooring that we wanted. We toured several houses, made a couple offers and with the housing market as crazy as its been – they all got declined. Then, when mortgage interest rates recently skyrocketed, we decided to wait for the market to right itself. In the meantime, we figured we’d turn our efforts towards projects that will help make this home into something we really love. So, whether we’re here for another one, two or several years – I’ve got some exciting projects planned that I think will make a big difference! Starting here with the Kitchen. We’ve already done several things to this kitchen. Take a look at what it looked like before we moved in vs what it is now: 2019 2022 2019 2022 Oh man, those photos from before always take me back!
